New Administrator Banner ImageOn February 6, the Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments:











Photo of James Long
James Long, Principal at Gateway High School (Effective 4/2/18)
Mr. Long will be coming to us from Thornton, Colorado where has held the following positions in Mapleton County Schools: Principal at York International School (2017 to present), Principal at Mapleton Early College High School (2013-2017), Assistant Principal and Activities Director at Highlands Ranch High School (2009 – 2013), Assistant Principal at Acres Green Elementary School (2010-2011) and Castle Rock Elementary (2004-2009). He received his bachelor’s degree in Journalism (Finance minor) from Metropolitan State College of Denver and his initial Professional Teacher Educator Certificate from the University of Colorado. He received his master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction – K12 Technology from the University of Colorado and his Administrative Licensure from the University of Phoenix.

Brenda Berube, Assistant Principal at NeoCity Academy
During her career, Brenda Berube has held the following positions: Chair and Associate Professor of Science and Science Education at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth (2008-2010); Teacher, Vice Principal, and District Director of Career and Technical Education for Fall River Public School, MA (1989-2013); Science and MTSS Coach at Kissimmee Middle (2013-2014); District Science Learning Specialist for the Osceola School District (2014-2016); Program Specialist for District Secondary STEM & Health Science Programs for the Osceola School District (2016-present). She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences/College of Medicine for the University of Central Florida. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a master's degree in Biomedical Technology and Management from Salve Regina University. She also received an Education Specialist degree in Education Leadership from Walden University.

Robert Dombo, Assistant Principal at St. Cloud High
During his career Robert Dombo has held the following positions: Teacher at Kissimmee Middle (2007-2011); Teacher at St. Cloud High (2011-2015); Dean and Learning Resource Specialist at PATHS (2015-2016); and Assistant Principal at oTECH (2016-present). He received his bachelor's degree in Science/Chemistry from the University of West Florida, an Educator Certification from the University of Phoenix, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Stetson University.

Ria Ramdath, Assistant Principal at Poinciana High
During her career, Ria Ramdath has held the following positions: Teacher and Instructional Coach at Madison Middle School in Miami-Dade County (2004-2011); Curriculum Support Specialist for Science for Miami-Dade County Public Schools (2011-2014); Assistant Principal at Samuel W. Wolfson High School in Duval County (2014-2015); and Assistant Principal of Curriculum at Samuel Wolfson School for Advanced Studies and Leadership (2015-present). She received her bachelor's degree in Science from the University of the West Indies and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
