Parkway Middle

The Middle Years International Bacalauratte Program (MYP) is a world-wide program to engage students in inquiry learning giving them tools to be successful in a globalized society.  Students who attend Parkway Middle are given a well rounded student-centered education in eight subject areas including Math, Science, Language & Literature, Individual & Societies, Language Acquisition (French & Spanish), PE & Health, Fine & Performing Arts (Band, Chorus, Dance, Orchestra, and Visual Arts), and Design (PLTW, Computers in Business, AVID, and Culinary Arts). Students also work to build essential life skills through their classes and engage in service learning each year of the program. The culiminating eighth grade project is called the Community Project, where student select an area to impact the community.   You can learn more about the MYP program from ibo.org
