Student, Parent & Community Volunteers Welcomed

Students may earn volunteer hours to be counted towards their graduation requirement, college and scholarship applications, etc. by visiting the media center during lunches or after school. It is recommended that all student volunteers schedule their volunteer time with Mr. Kersey in advanced.

Parents and Community Volunteers are always welcome in the media center to assist with ongoing projects. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mr. Kersey to schedule time for you to volunteer.

Volunteer Activities (Media Assistants)

Media Assistant duties include checking books in and out on the circulation computer, shelving books and other materials, creating displays, computer maintenance and general cleaning. Media Assistants also aid other students and teachers in locating printed and electronic resources. Media Assistants also assist the Media Specialist with special projects and mentor other media assistants.
