      Installation & Sign-In

      Teams is available as a mobile, desktop, and web app.

     

    To log in via web:

    1. Open Chrome
    2. Go to https://launchpad.classlink.com/osceola
    3. Select "Click Here to Sign In"
    4. Sign in with your Active Directory credentials.
    5. Select "Student Teams"
    6. Sign in with your Active Directory credentials. Email address should be entered as StudentID#@student.osceolaschools.net
    7. You'll see the "Download the Teams desktop app and stay better connected" screen. Select the "Use the web app instead".
    8. You are in! Click on the "Teams" button to access your classes

     

    If ClassLink is down, go to https://teams.microsoft.com to access Teams

    Logging in via desktop app and mobile app:

    1. After downloading Teams app you will be asked to sign in with your school account
    2. Sign in with your Active Directory credentials. Email address should be entered as StudentID#@student.osceolaschools.net
    3. Type your password
    4. Click sign in
    5. You are in! Click on the "Teams" button to access your classes

     

    Class Teams do not show up until the teachers add you to the class. If you don’t see your Class Team, please email your teachers. 

     

    Teams is not working

    If you're having trouble with Teams, try these troubleshooting tips to get unstuck and fix the problem:

    Step one: Restart computer

    Sign out of Teams and restart the computer.

    Step two: Try using Teams on another platform

    If you're using Teams on your desktop, access Teams on the web.

    OR

    If you're using Teams on the web, access the desktop app.

    Step three: Update Teams app and Chrome

    Desktop app

    1. In Teams, select your profile picture at the top of the app > Check for updates.
    2. Wait for the banner at the top of the app to indicate that a “refresh” of Teams is needed. The link should be shown about a minute later as this process downloads the new version of Teams. The banner also lets you know if you’re already running the latest version in which case, no update is necessary.
    3. Click the refresh link in the banner.
    4. Wait until Teams restarts, and then repeat step 1 to see whether the app is updated.

    Mobile app

    Download and install it again from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.

    Web app

    1. Open Chrome.
    2. Click on the 3 dots on the upper right corner > Help > About Google Chrome.
    3. Chrome will check for updates when you're on this page. To apply any available updates, click Relaunch.

    Clear cache & cookies

    1. Once Chrome is up to date, relaunch Google Chrome.
    2. Click on the 3 dots on the upper right corner > More Tools > Clear browsing data.
    3. In Clear browsing data windows, Select the Advance Tab
    4. Use the drop-down menu to select All time.
    5. Select all available boxes
    6. Click on Clear Data.

    Update your Active Directory Password in ClassLink

    1. Login to ClassLink and click on the profile circle in the top right corner (the bigger circle).
    2. Click on “SETTINGS” and select “Sign in”.
    3. Click on the “Key”, type your password in both lines, then hit save.
    4. If your password matches, you’ll receive the following message “Credentials edited successfully.”

    Step four: Ghost in Teams

    Persuade ghost to leave.

    Step five: Uninstall and reinstall Teams app

    If steps one through four are not successful, uninstall and reinstall Teams for your desktop or mobile device.

    Desktop app

    1. To uninstall Teams app you need to uninstall both Microsoft Teams and Teams Machine-Wide Installer.
    2. Quit Teams by right-clicking the Teams icon in the taskbar and choosing Close window.
    3. In Windows, click on the Start button > Settings > Apps.
    4. Under Apps & features, search "teams".
    5. Highlight Microsoft Teams, then select Uninstall.
    6. A box will appear, then again select Uninstall to confirm. A new box will appear, asking Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device? Select Yes.
    7. Now select Teams Machine-Wide Installer, click Uninstall. Then follow the same process described in step 5.
    8. Download Teams app from https://aka.ms/getteams
    9. Install it
    10. Launch the application, which will display its sign in screen
    11. Sign in with your Active Directory credentials. Email address should be entered as StudentID#@student.osceolaschools.net

    Mobile app

    1. Uninstall Teams the same way you uninstall other apps on your mobile device.
    2. Download Teams from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.
    3. Install it
    4. Launch the application, which will display its sign in screen
    5. Sign in with your Active Directory credentials. Email address should be entered as StudentID#@student.osceolaschools.net
