 Dual Enrollment & Early Admission

Dual Enrollment is an opportunity for high school students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time.  And it is all FREE!!  Students who are dually enrolled can only take classes part-time at the University of Central Florida.  Students can opt, however, to take additional classes at Valencia College (also in part-time status) to remain a full-time DE student.  Please see your school counselor at the high school to coordinate your schedule and to make sure you meet all of your high school requirements.
GPA- 3.8 recalculated weighted GPA (core classes only)
Test scores - SAT 1330 (Evidence-based Reading and Writing + Math) or ACT 28 composite
Dual Enrollment:
Students are considered part time and can only take a maximum of 6 credit hours per fall or spring term.  Students may also dual enroll at Valencia for an additional 6 credit hours to be considered full time.
Early Admission:
Students are full time at UCF for their senior year (after completing all high school requirements), and can take between 12-15 credit hours per fall or spring term.

Enrollment Deadlines:  See your School Counselor

If you are ready to get started, CLICK HERE, and click on APPLY NOW.

The student will complete the online application and check either DE or Early Admission.  The student will need to submit an official transcript as well as their official test scores to UCF before they can be admitted.  Once a student has been accepted, UCF will contact the student for additional forms that need to be signed by the counselor and parent before setting up an advising appointment to pick out classes.
