Chess club is an extracurricular school activity designed to give students an opportunity to learn the game of chess, improve their skill, and enjoy competing with their peers. Chess is a healthy means of developing critical thinking, decision making, and problem solving skills. The Horizon Middle School Chess Club is the best in Osceola County!
No registration is required to join! Snacks are provided!
Drama Club is designed for students interested in learning more about the aspects of theater.
This includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills, set building, and costumes/makeup design.
Drama Club is open to all students, and multiple shows are performed by the Drama Club throughout the year!
Interested in Signing Up? See Ms. Ekblom in Bldg 5 Room 114 about how you can take part in all the exciting shows and events performed by students all year!

Yearbook Club is a group that gives students experience in print media publishing. This group works toward the completion of the Horizon Middle School Yearbook while publishing photos to our school website and Social Media accounts.
Being in the Yearbook Club allows students experience in photography, computer design, and writing creatively that combine to create a yearbook that captures the memories of our school year.
