Hello Pioneers!! My names is Deputy Porter, and I am your School Resource Officer (SRO)! I am excited for a great 2021-2022 school year; how about you?! Many of you may know me as I have been assigned here for a few years, but some of you may be new here....so, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been employed with the Osceola County Sheriff's Office for over 20 years; and I have worked in Patrol, Field Training Officer, Property Detective, Special Investigations (Child Crimes) Detective, Honor Guard, and Hostage Negotiator. I have been an SRO for about 7 years and have been assigned to the high schools, middle schools, and elementary schools. I also have two college degrees which I was able to obtain while working at the OCSO. I would like to help the students, the parents, and the staff in any way I can.
