2018-19 Best & Brightest Teacher Scholarship Program

As a result of the devastating effects of Hurricane Michael on many Florida school districts and the consequent relocation of teachers throughout the state, the FLDOE has extended the deadline to December 3, 2018 to submit documentation for Best and Brightest Teacher Scholarship eligibility.

The State of Florida created the Best and Brightest Teacher Scholarship Program to attract and retain high academic achievers in the teaching profession. This is a State funded opportunity. Osceola County School District is not responsible for funding or program parameters.

A Scholarship Program established by Florida Legislature to reward Florida's teachers who have been evaluated as highly effective and who have earned college entrance exam scores that indicate they were exceptionally well prepared for college level coursework.

Through this scholarship, qualifying teachers may be eligible to earn a monetary award for the 2018-2019 school year.
