LIGHT THE NIGHT - The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)
"My daughter Priscilla Marie was diagnosed with Acute Myloblastic Leukemia at 11 months old. She suffered a lot throughout her short life stay on earth. She went threw all standard chemo, radiation, self-treatment bone marrow transplant and even experimental treatment. I did anything to try and keep my daughter alive. However before she entered The Golden Gates of Heaven, nine days before her 2nd Birthday, Priscilla finger painted our family portrait at the Memorial Hospital in New York City. Her finger-painting is an abstract art of our favorite family pass time - Bike riding together. At times when finances were rough, I would even ride her on my bike to her doctor appointments. I am asking your fundraising support for the many children who are now facing this monster known as Leukemia. Priscilla never had the chance to attend school or even have friends because of her short life span, but I plea for your support to give someone a chance of hope called LIFE. Every lit bit counts!"
