Osceola School District Launches New School Choice Website For Parents And Students Featuring School Match Quiz
The Osceola School District is large and understanding all the outstanding academic programs and offerings available to students as part of the school choice process can sometimes prove to be overwhelming for parents. In order to help parents find a perfect school match for their child, the Osceola School District has launched a new interactive website at www.myosceolachoice.school.
As part of the district's 2020 Choice Week activities, kicking off on November 16, parents and students are invited to visit the new Educational Choices website to take a fun interactive quiz to see which of the over 50 public schools in the Osceola School District best meet their child's interests and to learn about each school's offerings, awards, accomplishments, and information. Over 15 different career pathways are featured within the quiz, as well as a wide array of high-quality enrichment programs with which students can be matched.
The Osceola County School Board strongly believes that parents should decide which academic environment best meets their students' needs and interests. Osceola School District's School Choice online application window for the 2021-2022 school year will run from November 16, 2020, through February 1, 2021. Information about the school choice process and how to apply can be found at www.osceolaschools.net/choice, and questions can be directed to the district’s Educational Choices and Innovation Department at 407-870-4847.
