This is a throwback but one too good not to still share!

Last fall, Osceola County School for the Arts took on a collaborative approach of combining academic teachers and arts teachers for a school-wide production of West Side Story.

As a former theatre director, I know the power of involving every classroom in producing academic material to support such an effort. Not only did our team take it on, they knocked it out of the park!

The production had record sales and attendance from the community that hadn't been seen at OCSA in years. The students worked tirelessly and the teachers and parents never missed a beat.
