The seventh grade English Language Arts team at Discovery Intermediate uses attractive, coveted gift baskets and customised certificates to motivate students' pursuit for growth and excellence in their academic performance each month.

This motivational challenge continued during the remote learning period, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The novel idea was welcomed by the school community and sponsored by SAC.

The students love the recognition and work hard to earn these awards.
