St. Cloud High School Student is Honored for Perfect Attendance

Zabrina has not missed a single day of school since she started with the Osceola School District in pre-kindergarten. Superintendent Dr. Pace and School Board Member Robert Bass surprised her at St. Cloud High School to present her with a perfect attendance certificate. An accomplishment her older brother was also recognized for four years earlier.

"He just motivated me to keep going to school every day," said Zabrina. "You don’t want to be behind in your classes, you want to stay on top of your things."

Zabrina hopes to continue her perfect attendance streak throughout college.

"I want to be an ER nurse," said Zabrina. "I plan on going to Valencia and then doing the direct connect program to UCF."

She knows that an important part of being successful in such a competitive program starts with being present in class.
