Erika was born and raised in Kissimmee and is a proud product of Osceola County public schools. After graduating from St. Cloud High, Mrs. Booth attended the University of Florida, where she obtained two bachelor’s degrees. Erika also holds a Master of Arts in elementary education from the University of Central Florida. She has also completed Stetson University’s Education Leadership program.

Erika has worked in the Osceola County school district and the non-profit sector. While working for the school district, Erika worked at six different schools and had the honor of opening five. At the district level, Erika served as the Partners in Education Specialist, and she formed and fostered partnerships with local businesses and matched them with schools looking for support. While working for Community Vision, Mrs. Booth also served as a project manager for Youth Leadership Osceola and Project OPEN (Osceola Poverty Elimination Network).

Mrs. Booth is also a servant leader in the community. She is a 2015 Leadership Osceola graduate, has served as a State Buddies Mentor, and is a volunteer member of the Silver Spurs Riding Club. Mrs. Booth’s efforts in both the classroom and community have awarded her numerous awards, including the 2014 Top 10 Teacher of the Year finalist for the school district, the 2018 Tomorrow’s Leaders Today award from the Osceola Chamber’s Young Professionals, the A+ teacher award presented by Spectrum News 13, and the April 2021 Osceola County Woman Warrior.

Erika resides in St. Cloud with her husband of 20 years, Ricky, and their three children. The Booth family are all faithful members of a local church.

Erika nació y creció en Kissimmee y es un orgulloso producto de las escuelas públicas del condado Osceola. Después de graduarse de la escuela superior St. Cloud, la Sra. Erika reside en St. Cloud con su esposo, Ricky, con quien ha estado casa por 20 años y sus tres hijos. La familia Booth son todos fieles miembros de una iglesia local.
