Back to School 2021-2022Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

We are thrilled to have all our artists return for a new school year. Please view the following back-to-school information for parents and students. We will continue to help our young artists discover the best of themselves at OCSA. With passion, purpose and perseverance, we will write the next chapter of our stories.

Open House

Friday, August 5th, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. (click here for more information)

First Day of School

Wednesday, August 10th from 9:10am - 3:10pm 

School Start/End Times

9:10am - 4:10pm (Wednesday: 9:10am – 3:10pm)

Alternating Daily Schedule (Purple/Teal)

OCSA has an alternating daily schedule. We alternate from Purple and Teal days. On Purple days, periods 1, 2, 3, and 4 meet. On Teal Days, periods 5, 6, 3, and 7 meet. 
The home page of our school website (bottom of page) will contain a calendar with all the Purple/Teal days and the district calendar events.
The first 2 days of school (Wednesday, August 10th & Thursday, August 11th) we will have a 7 period schedule.

MySchoolBucks

Sign up for easy payments for uniform shirts, spirit shirts, parking permits and other fees. If you do not have a MySchoolBucks account please sign up.

When on the site please select "School District of Osceola County" for the county.  Once you have a MySchoolBucks account, you can browse the featured products in our store and purchase them online. Click here to sign up!

Uniforms

Supply list

Students will receive supply lists from their teachers during open house or the first days of school. In the meantime, students can buy pens, pencils, paper, and other necessary items for daily use. 

Bus Routes

Routes are continuously being updated. For more information please visit the district's transportation website (click here). 

Free/Reduced Meal Application

Click here for more information. Please complete by September 9th, 2022

IDs

Will be available on the first day of school during homeroom. We will take updated photos soon after the start of the school year. 

Lockers

Locker rental fees for the year are $10, which includes a lock we provide (only school approved and supplied locks may be used). Click here for more information and to purchase the locker rental fee.

On-Campus Parking

On-campus parking is available to eligible 11th and 12th graders for a fee of $30. Once purchased, Mr. Conners will email the parking registration form. You will need your car's registration and car insurance information to complete the form.

Off-Campus Lunch

Off-campus lunch is available to eligible 11th and 12th graders for a fee of $10. Parents must complete a parent permission slip and sign in front of a Notary Public. Once eligibility is verified the student may issue a payment for the off-campus lunch pass.

Schedules

Schedules are currently available in Focus for students and parents and will be updated through August 9th. If there are any questions regarding schedules or other guidance related concerns, please contact your school counselor by email...

Schedule Changes

Schedule changes will not be made during Open House.

If you would like to request a schedule change please complete the schedule request change form for your grade level.

Schedule Request Forms

These forms will be available between August 9th at 1:00pm to August 19th at 4:30pm. Only requests made though these forms will be considered. Please submit your request once. 

Schedule change requests will be fulfilled if the change is in the best interest of the student and their graduation requirements as determined by the counselor. Changes cannot be made if class numbers do not allow for more students.

Change requests are not honored for the following reasons: to change a teacher, to change a class period, to be in a class with friends, or drop a required class for a class which is not required.
