New Administrative Appointments (02-16-21)
On February 16, the Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments:
Elizabeth Salvato, Assistant Principal at Mill Creek Elementary
Elizabeth Salvato has held the following positions: Teacher at Lakeview Elementary (2001-2002 and 2003-2011); Teacher at Partin Settlement Elementary (2002-2003); Literacy Coach at Lakeview Elementary (2011-2014); K-12 District PLC Resource Teacher and Elementary Curriculum Resource Teacher (2014-2018); and New Teacher Lead Mentor (2018-present). She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida, a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Reading from Grand Canyon University, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.
Amanda Soto, Assistant Principal at Ventura Elementary
Amanda Soto has held the following positions: Teacher at Mill Creek Elementary and Celebration K-8 (2008-2012); Teacher at Jackson Middle, District Instructional Math and Science Program Specialist K-5, P-SELL Coordinator, Secondary STEM Program Specialist, and Instructional Process Specialist for Orange County Public Schools (2012-2016); and Math and Science Coach at Ventura Elementary and District Resource Teacher for English Language Arts for the Osceola School District (2018-present). She received her bachelor’s degree from University of Central Florida, her Educational Leadership certificate from Stetson University, and a master's degree in Applied Learning and Instruction from the University of Central Florida.
Kara Crisp, Assistant Principal at Neptune Middle
Kara Crisp has held the following positions: Teacher at St. Cloud Elementary (2006-2012); Teacher at Neptune Middle (2012-2016); and Learning Resource Specialist at Neptune Middle (2016-current). She received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Kaplan University.
Francisco Rivera, currently Assistant Principal at Westside K-8, will be Assistant Principal at Canoe Creek K-8.
