On June 30, the Osceola County School Board approved the following administrative appointments:
Jeffrey Arnott, Executive Director of Secondary & Post-Secondary Career and Technical Education Jeffrey Arnott has held the following positions: Teacher at Umatilla High School in Lake County (1993-1994); Teacher at Haines City High School and Boone and Jenkins Middle School in Polk County (1991-1997); Teacher at St. Cloud High School (1997-2000); Assistant Principal at Poinciana High School (2005-2008); Assistant Principal at Horace O'Bryant Middle School in Monroe County (2008-2009); Director of Adult and Alternative Education in Monroe County (2009-2012); and Director of Adult and Community Education for Brevard County Public Schools (2012-present). He received his bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Florida and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from the University of South Florida. He is currently working on his doctorate degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Angel Lopez, Jr., Assistant Principal at Reedy Creek Elementary School Dr. Angel Lopez, Jr. has held the following positions: Teacher for the Osceola School District (2002-2007 and 2017-present); and a variety of positions in higher education, including Researcher, Technological Consultant, Educational Director, Adjunct Professor, and Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Central Florida (2007-2014). He received his bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Cleveland State University, a master's degree in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Central Florida, and a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Stetson University. He received his doctorate degree in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Central Florida.
