Registration For Osceola School District’s Prekindergarten (VPK) Program To Open February 15, 2021

Osceola County parents with a child who will be four years old by September 1, 2021, are invited to register him or her beginning February 15, 2021, for the Osceola School District's 2021-2022 free Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK). VPK prepares Osceola County's littlest learners for success, as research continues to show that children who attend high-quality preschool do better when they enter kindergarten, which can make a big positive difference in future years.

Highlights of Osceola School District's VPK program include:
--Half-day FREE instructional program--Full-day instructional program available in some locations for a fee
--Loving environments with a low student-to-teacher ratio
--Qualified, experienced instructors
--Research-based literacy and math programs
--Computers in every classroom
--Health and safety measures in place, such as plexiglass dividers at tables, individual sets of materials, masks, frequent hand washing and sanitizing, and eating in the classrooms
--Dual Language program at selected sites
--Chess at all sites
