"My son has had trouble with his writing every year. Even practicing nightly did not help.

"This year, he was sent a writing angel in the form of his teacher. Mrs. Douglass has had so much patience with him and has gone above and beyond to help him practice and achieve better penmanship.

"He had a project due and was working on the index card portion. I looked over and he was crying. I asked, "Why are you crying?"

"He showed me the card and said, "Look how pretty my handwriting is now." He was so proud of himself.

"Mrs. Douglass has been using different strategies with him and we are thankful for her persistent practice in this area with our child."
