Staff members at Thacker Avenue Elementary School for International Studies recognized the wonderful parents who wait day in and day out in the car rider line by providing them with ice cold water and a sweet note.

Their patience and support while getting students safely into cars each day is appreciated by the staff and they wanted to let them know with this simple act of kindness.

The school would also like to thank those staff members involved, including Ashlee O'Berry Massey, Krystal Jeffcoat, Kandy Golumbfskie, and Principal Yara DeLaFuentes.
