"The distance learning in the spring was difficult, stressful, and my daughter had a lot of technical issues. Throughout the quarter, we spoke with Ms Forty-Way and she was nothing but encouraging and understanding. She motivated my daughter to keep working hard even through her technical issues.

"At the end of the year, we reached out to the assistant principal, Mr. Sassic, because grades were not entered. We were worried that because of the issues we were having she would lose her accelerated status. He responded quickly and worked with the teacher to see what happened, reassuring us during the process, and resolved the issue.

"While the distance learning was not ideal for my daughter (an A/B honor roll student), the Neptune Middle School staff was supportive and went out of their way to help her through the entire quarter.

"We wanted to let them know how much we appreciate everything they did throughout this difficult time."
