On October 29, 2019 Thacker Avenue Elementary School for International Studies invited the First Responders of our community to have lunch with students as a way to show appreciation for their contribution to the community and to thank them for their service.

This event is a part of an ongoing initiative by the school to build stronger relationships between our community and those that serve it.

The special guests, staff, and students had a great time together.
