Welcome to Westside K8!
Westside is a caring, supportive environment. Your child has the opportunity to spend 9 years with us in a consistent academic, student-centered, environment. We struve to provide a safe, caring and supportive environment that empowers and motivates our students to succeed academically and personally each school year. It is our goal to foster integrity, self-advocacy, accountability and responsibility. We encourage family and community partnerships to support our students.
I want to acknowledge the choice you have to help us build a school that we believe will offer a safe, supportive and powerful education for Osceola County students.
The families of Westside K8 come from all over our county and from many different countries. We offer support for all our learners including students for whom English is not a first language and students with special learning needs. We offer Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten on site as well. We are proud of our journey to bring together this diverse group of students, families, and teachers to become one of the strongest communities of learners in the country to be worthy of our school mantra "Westside is the Best Side".
Welcome to the Best Side.
Educationally,
Christie Ray, Principal
