Statement from the Osceola County School District regarding NIL for High School Students
On June 4, 2024, the Florida High School Athletic Association’s (FHSAA) Board of Directors unanimously approved the revision of FHSAA Bylaw 9.9, Amateurism, to include Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).

Medical Opt-In Selection for Students
Parents, please be aware that the Osceola School District's medical option form has been changed for the 2024-2025 school year. The new form requires parents to opt-in to any medical services for their children, instead of opting out as in years past.

Osceola County School District Announces 2024 School Grades Using Updated Grading Scale

I am thrilled to welcome you to East Lake Elementary School! As the Principal, I am committed to creating a positive and nurturing environment where our students can thrive. Here are some important details about our school:
- PRIDE Values: At East Lake, we embrace PRIDE— positivity, respect, integrity, determination, and excellence in learning. These values guide our interactions and shape our school culture.
- High-Quality Education: Our dedicated staff provides a high-quality education for every child. We believe in fostering a love for learning and helping students reach their full potential.
- Dual Language Program: We are proud to offer a Dual Language program for interested students. This program allows students to learn in both Spanish and English, enhancing their language skills and cultural understanding.
- We are a Leader in Me School: This program aims to nurture student leadership, foster a culture of trust, and enhance academic success. By teaching both adults and students the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, we will empower our entire school community.
- Before and After School Activities: To ensure a well-rounded education, we offer a variety of before, during, and after school activities. From sports to arts, there’s something for everyone!
