Dear Chestnut Family:
I hope everyone had a phenomenal summer with family and friends! Of course, we know you and your families are probably just as excited as we are to begin another year when we will ignite learning to new levels in 2024!! As I enter my seventh year as the proud principal of Chestnut Elementary "School for Science and Engineering", it always gets me charged up to see our students and families begin another journey of success!! Last year, we "leveled up" our students and the data certainly shows that!!! As we enter the 24-25 school year, we know "The Force Will Be Strong With Us"......stay tuned for more details on our exciting new theme! On August 9th, we will be hosting our Open House from 3:30 PM-5:30 PM where you and your child(ren) will get to meet their new teacher - how exciting is that!!! Also, we will be selling our new school spirit shirts for $11 - cash only. Just like in previous years, we will have various vendors here and members from our district to assist you with any questions you may have. Please do not hesitate to contact the front office at 407-870-4862 if you have any questions.
Once a Stallion, YOU are Family.
Look forward to seeing everyone on August 9th!
Sincerely,
Gary Bressler
