Dear Neptune Family
The 2020-2021 School Year is quickly approaching and I am very excited about what is ahead for this year. As your principal, I am honored to serve the community, parents, teachers, and students of Neptune.
Neptune has a rich tradition of success and has been a model of excellence in academics, fine arts, and athletics. My goal as principal of Neptune is to work alongside our dedicated team of teachers and staff to continue to increase student achievement while providing a safe learning environment for all students.
Since our mission is to provide education which inspires all students to achieve their highest potential, we will remain focused on setting high expectations and providing the necessary supports for every child, every chance, every day!
Please remember that our schools start and end times have changed. Unless your child is enrolled in the YMCA before school program which opens at 7:00 am, student drop off can be no earlier than 8:50 AM with classes beginning at 9:20. Along with free breakfast for all students, I am happy to let you know that all Neptune Middle School students will continue to receive free lunch as well.
Our dismissal time is 4:20 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday while Wednesday is early release with dismissal at 3:20. Please ensure your child knows how they are getting home each and every day.
A student’s experience at Neptune is enhanced through the support of the community and I invite you to get involved in your child’s education by becoming a SAC member and/or an OASIS Volunteer.
I am looking forward to building a strong partnership with all stakeholders as we work together to support our students and help them succeed.
It’s going to be a great year at Neptune Middle School!
Go Seahawks!Thomas Rademacher
