Pirate Nation,The time everyone has been waiting for is finally here...it's the end of the school year! I can't believe how fast this year has gone by. Before we leave for summer break, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of Pirate Nation for an amazing school year.Students and staff have worked hard this year to ensure student success, and we have so much to celebrate. Our test scores have been the highest this school has seen in several years! I am excited to see what our school grade will be and will share it once the state releases it.I am so proud of our students who locked in and showed all that they learned this year. Every year has its challenges, but Pirate Nation stepped up and showed that there is nothing we can't do as a family.I hope everyone enjoys their summer. To our 8th graders who are off to high school, I wish you all the best! To our students coming back next year and the new ones who will be joining us, I can't wait to see you all soon. In the meantime, be safe, make good choices and return with honor!1...2...3...Go Pirates!!!With warmest regards,Misty M. Cruz, Principal
