SchoolStore Fundraising
we started a SchoolStore program to help our school raise money. An envelope explaining how the program works has been sent home with your student. Parents, please read over the information describing how you can participate. Your student will earn a participation prize when they return the filled-out envelope to school, and they can earn more great prizes when your family and friends help our school raise money. So don't forget to send the filled-out envelope back to school, and thanks for your support.

School Resource Office - Officer Morris
-
Officer Morris moved to Osceola County in 1987 and attended Thacker Avenue Elementary School, Denn John Middle School and Osceola High School. She graduated from Valencia College with an Associates in Arts Degree and the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology. In 2004, she was hired by the Kissimmee Police Department as a patrol officer and soon became a Field Training Officer, where she had the opportunity to train and mentor over 20 new officers. In 2007, Officer Morris achieved the position of detective where she spent 7 years investigating criminal cases in both the Property Crimes and Major Crimes units. For the past 4 years she has been working as a School Resource Officer at Thacker Avenue Elementary School for International Studies where she is also one of the Track and Field coaches. Although her primary responsibility is the safety of everyone on campus, she also focus on connecting with students, parents and staff to foster a positive relationship with law enforcement. In February 2021, Officer Morris took over as the Region 4 Director with the Florida Association of School Resource Officers. Through this position, she acts as the liaison between other agencies within my region. It also provides opportunity for her to connect with other School Resource Officer’s throughout the state and assist with coordinating the annual School Resource Officer training conference.
