Arrival and Dismissal Guidelines
IMPORTANT CHANGE – During pandemic times, we are requesting that parents drop off students at 9:05 if possible. This will minimize large gatherings in common areas while waiting for teachers to arrive and will help us maintain social distance for the students in the morning. PLEASE PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING WHEN DROPPING OFF OR PICKING UP YOUR CHILDREN.

"Celebration K-8 School will be a nationally recognized, top performing school in the state."- Celebration K-8 School Vision StatementWelcome to the 2023-2024 School Year at Celebration K-8 School!I am very excited to begin my first full year as principal of this amazing school. Celebration School has a 26-year tradition of excellence that we plan to build on this year. Points of Pride for our school include 18 straight years earning an "A" from the state of Florida, recognition as a Blue-Ribbon Lighthouse School, and a Florida Department of Education School of Excellence. We also boast a Dual Language program in grades K-3, we are an AVID School, and we offer our middle school students the opportunity to earn up to four high school credits. Our students excel in academics, fine and performing arts, and athletics. Celebration is a diverse school with over 20 different languages spoken on our campus. We are proud of how many of our former students have gone on to do amazing things after their time at Celebration K-8.Our school exists to serve the students of Celebration and the surrounding community. At the heart of this service is a belief that all students can excel when provided with a safe, welcoming environment and high-quality teaching. In order to ensure that all students feel safe and receive the instruction they deserve, we rely on the help of our incredible parents and community members. A cornerstone of the Celebration community is education. Whether you are new to Celebration or have been with us for years, you will find many opportunities to help us on our mission. We have a thriving PTA, an involved SAC, a booster club and more. We partner with the Celebration Foundation as well as other organizations that share in our mission to offer a world class education. Of course, we can always use help from our OASIS volunteers and our Business Partners in Education. Please explore our website and subscribe to our social media accounts to learn more about our wonderful school and ways that you can support us. I am looking forward to a fantastic year of partnerships and accomplishments.Gary Weeden, Principal
