Who We Are:
The Denn John Middle School Dragons breathe F.I.R.E., which stands for Focus, Integrity, Respect, and Engaged in Learning. Our goal is to provide a learning environment that promotes both academic and social growth.
What We Offer:
A potential to obtain 7 high school Credits:
Spanish 1 and 2, Algebra 1, Biology, Geometry, World History, Physical Science Honors
If a student struggles academically, we offer a pathway and academic resources that will fill in the gaps and help get them back at grade level. This is accomplished through intensive classes, before and after-school tutoring, Saturday school and a number of interventions based on the individual student. We also have strong ESE and ELL supports.
A wide variety of electives:
Band, Orchestra, Chorus, Art, Physical Education, STEM, Health, Business Computers, AVID
Sports Programs for boys and girls:
Soccer, Flag Football, Volleyball, Track and Field, Cross-Country, Girls Softball, Cheerleading, Basketball
Clubs and Academic Competitive Team:
National Junior Honor Society, Student Government, Battle of the Books, Odyssey of the Mind, Literacy Club, Mathletes

We pride ourselves in giving the best possible customer service. We promote a family atmosphere and we believe it is our responsibility to meet the needs of our parents, students, and the community. We are a 5 Star School, a PBiS Model School, a Customer Service Red Carpet Award winner. We have a brand-new campus with top notch technology and a staff that will do whatever it takes to assure your child’s success. Denn John firmly believes that working collaboratively anything is possible. We have an open-door policy. If you would like to meet with administration, you do not need an appointment. Just come to school and we will sit down and talk. We are Denn John!

Further information to followThe purpose of Title I of the Elementary and Secondary Act of 1965 as amended by the Improving America's Schools Act of 1994 provides supplemental educational services for eligible public and private school students to assist those children in acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to meet challenging student performance standards. Federal legislation has provided guidelines for the selection of schools, for the selection of students, and for parental involvement.
