Celebration K-8

Mr. Weeden started his career with SDOC at Celebration when it was a new K-12 school.  He was hired by Dr. Bobbi Vogel, Dr. Bill Vogel's wife, as they were opening the school, and he later transitioned to help John Bushey open the new Celebration High School several years later, serving as Athletic Director and Assistant Principal for Instruction before becoming the Principal at Kissimmee Middle and then Narcoossee Middle. 

 

He was recognized by his peers at this years Principal of the Year, he has a great passion for serving diverse students, for building a strong school culture, and for establishing open and clear communication channels with parents and the community, all characteristics identified in our Celebration K-8 stakeholder surveys and follow-up discussion.
