    Dress Code Policy
    2018 - 2019

    • Fitted SOLID BLACK BOTTOMS or BLUE JEANS (pants, capris, long shorts, skirts – no shorter than mid-thigh), no sweats or spandex, not too tight, too short or too loose
    • Clothing that exposes underwear or body parts in an indecent or vulgar manner or that disrupts the orderly learning environment is prohibited. Consequences: 1st - Verbal warning, call home; 2nd - ineligible to participate in extracurricular activities for up to 5 days & parent conference; 3rd - ISS, ineligible to participate in extracurricular activities for up to 30 days, verbal & written notification to parents. Continuation may warrant dismissal from Zenith. (State Bill 228 – “Saggy Pants”)
    • No articles should hang from the pockets of the pants (scarves, lanyards, etc.)
    • SOLID GRAY POLO SHIRTS 
    • Gray polo shirt must be visible when wearing jackets or sweaters
    • Sandals with heel straps may be worn if safe and approved by administration (no platforms, heels or flip flops allowed)
    • Shoestrings/flaps/Velcro must be tied/fastened as designed
    • No distracting body piercing rings/jewelry are allowed (belly, tongue, nose, etc.)
    • No hats, bandanas, towels, or sunglasses
    • No heavy or oversized chains, wallet chains, large medallions, large or multiple rings on the hand, or heavy chain bracelets
    • No drastic hair style or color (Mohawks/spiked hair styles, etc.). Headbands, sweatbands, curlers, picks or other headgear are inappropriate. No numbers, designs or writing in hair.
    • Body tattoos are not to be seen
    • Students must wear their own ID around the neck at all times
    • If ID is defaced, another ID card must be purchased for a fee of $5.00
