• THE NITA M. LOWEY 21ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTERS (21ST CCLC) EXPANDED LEARNING PROGRAM:

      Provides during school hours opportunities for academic enrichment, including providing tutorial services to help students, to meet the challenging state academic standards; and offers students a broad array of additional services, programs and activities, such as youth development activities, service learning, nutrition and health education, drug and violence prevention program counseling programs, physical fitness and wellness programs 

      Additionally… we offer adult family members of students served by the 21st CCLC  Expanded Learning Program opportunities for active and meaningful engagement in their children's education and opportunities for literacy and related educational development.

      Each program has three components:

      • Expanded Learning Opportunities
      • Health And Support Services
      • Families And Communities As Assets
