    Meet your Librarian/Media Specialist

    Mr. Alvey Shrader

    Mr. Shrader has been working as an educator for the past 26 years.  He worked for 19 years as a Special Education teacher and been the Librarian at Kissimmee Middle since 2015.  He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Central Florida in 1995.  He then earned a Master of Arts degree in Exceptional Student Education from the University of Central Florida in 2002.  He later earned his Master of Library and Information Sciences from Kent State Uinversity.  Feel free to contact Mr. Shrader for your reading needs at alvey.shrader@osceolaschools.net.

  • The Scholastic Book Fair is coming October 1st-11th! 

    Start saving up, the book fair will be coming back to Kissimmee Middle in October!  This will be your chance to stock up on great reads and help your Library/Media Center out at the same time.  Check back later for more information.
