Principal's Message

Principal Sassic and Assistant Principal Nicholson

    Hello Phoenix family!

We are so excited to welcome ALL our students and families back to school for the start of the 2022-2023 school year.

This year we will focus on Relationships, Collaboration, and Talent Development. At Flora Ridge we create an environment that promotes positive relationships in which staff, students, and families can feel safe, and are ready to learn. We recognize that students who possess exceptional gifts and talents should be granted the direction, time, encouragement, and resources to maximize their potential, whether it be in the area of intellect, specific academics, creativity, art, music, drama, or leadership. With the collaboration of the school community to meet the needs of our students, I have no doubt the '22-'23 school year will be one we will remember.

We can’t wait to see you all soon…..FLY PHOENIX!

    Officer Kevin Kelly

    Hello Flora,
I am pleased to see a lot familiar and brand new faces this year!!!! For those who are not familiar, I am Officer Kevin Kelly. I will be your School Resource Officer. I look forward to stopping by classrooms, giving presentations and meeting everyone in person. If there are any law enforcement related topics you would like me to discuss to your students or you see any general safety/security issues at the school, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I've been making it a tradition to speak to classrooms during career day, trick or treating safety, etc. I have an open door policy and if anyone needs anything, feel free to reach out or stop by my office (no judgment). I look forward to working with y'all and to keeping the tradition of having Flora Ridge Elementary S.O.A.R to success.
