• Meet our School Resource Officer (SRO) Officer Chris Halle!!!

    Officer Halle

Born and raised in Kissimmee, Florida, I am a rare Osceola County native. I graduated from Poinciana High School in 2000 and continued my studies at Valencia College. Throughout my teenage years, I aspired to be a police officer and at age 15, began working towards that goal as a Sheriff’s Explorer and eventually as a student clerk with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.  In 2003, I attended the police academy at Osceola Technical College and was hired by the Kissimmee Police Department as a Patrol Officer in 2004. I quickly became a Field Training Officer, responsible for training and mentoring multiple recruit officers. In addition to Patrol, I have been assigned to the Traffic Enforcement Unit as well as Detective with the Property Crimes and Major Crimes Units, investigating serious criminal offenses. In 2017, I joined the School Resource Officer Unit and in 2018, became the SRO for Mill Creek Elementary. In 2021, I received the School Resource Officer Specialist designation from the State of Florida after completing over 120 hours of additional specialized juvenile and school safety training from the Attorney General’s Office.

As the SRO for Mill Creek, I am responsible for ensuring the safety of the campus as well as fostering positive and trusting relationships with students, teachers and parents. I look forward to seeing and interacting with each and every one of you! Do not hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns about school safety or just to say hello!
