Greetings and welcome to all our future Island Village Elementary Ospreys! 

I am Audie Confesor and I am excited to lead and open our new school.  I am honored to be the first Principal of Island Village, and I am looking forward to meeting our families and our students.  Together we will “Ignite our JOY” as we begin this journey together.  

I have been employed in Osceola County for 25 years.  I was the Assistant Principal that opened East Lake Elementary School on the East side of Osceola, and I recently served as the Principal at Deerwood Elementary School in Poinciana. I led Deerwood from being one of the lowest performing schools in our District to one of the top ten elementary schools during the 2021-2022 School Year.  I firmly believe that all students have a talent or gift in academics, the visual/performing arts, or athletics.

Our staff will be committed to unlocking and developing your child’s talent.  When we open our doors in August, we will use our first nine weeks together building relationships and getting to know our students and our community.  Our school will be providing both enrichment opportunities based on student-interest and academic intervention for ALL students.   

I highly encourage our community to be involved with their child’s education and help us build the memories and traditions that will last a lifetime for our students.
