Statement from the Osceola County School District regarding NIL for High School Students
On June 4, 2024, the Florida High School Athletic Association’s (FHSAA) Board of Directors unanimously approved the revision of FHSAA Bylaw 9.9, Amateurism, to include Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL).

Medical Opt-In Selection for Students
Parents, please be aware that the Osceola School District's medical option form has been changed for the 2024-2025 school year. The new form requires parents to opt-in to any medical services for their children, instead of opting out as in years past.

Greetings Osprey Families!
Welcome back to another exciting school year at Island Village Elementary School! I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable break and are ready to embark on a new academic journey filled with learning, growth, and new opportunities.
As we begin our second year together, I want to extend a warm welcome to both returning students and those who are joining us for the first time. We have a lot of new Ospreys this year, and I am excited to get to know each of you as we go through the year. I look forward to being a part of the positive impact that we will share together.
To our dedicated teachers and staff members, thank you for being dedicated to work together to unlock and develop the talents of our students. Your commitment and dedication do not go unnoticed, and I am grateful for the passion and willingness to go above and beyond that you bring to our school every day.
As we welcome our new families, let us embrace the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead with optimism, resilience, and a growth mindset. Remember that each day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and make a difference in the lives of our students.
