  • What will a day look like for a student who chooses to return via digital learning this fall?

  • Why is there not a blended option available?

  • What are the mask options for students with sensory or breathing issues? Would a face shield be accepted?

  • Will digital learning teachers provide help to ESOL students?

  • Will parents need to commit to a certain amount of time if they are choosing digital learning? What will it look like if a 3rd grade classroom begins with 20 students virtually and after 2-3 months only has 3 students doing virtual? What will that mean for the face-to-face classes? Will this put them over 18 students?

  • Will students still be sharing books like they did last year for classes?

  • How do you request to transition back to face-to-face instruction if you begin with digital learning?

  • Will teachers be live streaming classes or add videos for teaching and instruction?

  • How will middle school ESE students do distance learning as far as help from their teachers?

  • Is state testing still required for digital learning students?

  • How are the school supplies going work? Will students have their own individual supplies or will they be sharing them in groups?

  • If I chose face-to-face but my kids are unhappy and we switch to digital learning, will we need to provide our own device?

  • Why isn't digital learning available for VPK students?

  • For the face-to-face option, it says if the child travels internationally or on a cruise they would have to quarantine for 14 days. In this situation will these quarantine days go against attendance or will they be shifted to digital learning for those two weeks?

  • How are you going to ensure that schools are clean? Especially the bathrooms.

  • How will students with IEPs be handled as far as services are concerned?

  • What is the commitment timeframe from the county on Option 2? For example, will it be an option for the entire school year, one semester, etc.?

  • If my child is out sick (not due to COVID-19) will they be allowed to return under the normal protocol?

  • What extra precautions are going to be taken for schools that are polling locations for voting?

  • How many students per classroom?

  • If a teacher/student tests positive, will parents be notified? Will schools need to closed for cleaning if there are multiple cases?

  • What if a parent tests positive and the children test negative? Do the children quarantine along with the parents? What if they catch it later on, will there be a quarantine absence limit?

  • Will the classes be randomized or will the classes be lumped together by location/neighborhood in order to limit spread?

  • Are some schools still planning on doing co-teaching with 25-36 kids in those rooms? How is 3-4 feet social distancing supposed to happen?

  • For digital learning, will students get to meet teachers face-to-face before school starts?

  • For high school, how will electives such as PE, Art, AVID and executive/office intern work if digital learning is chosen?

  • What mental health resources are you offering for students and staff who are in need of support during this pandemic?

  • If choosing digital learning, will students have the ability to ask real-time questions during the live lessons?

  • What happens when a child has a fever or shows signs of possibly having virus and parents can't come or can't be reached at all?

  • Will the district put active shooter and tornado drills on hold? The students are usually all squished together during those drills.
