Principal's Message
-
Greetings!
As the first semester comes to an end, I wanted to thank all our OCSA families, students, and staff for a very productive two quarters. We have managed through hurricanes and renovation changes while still performing and sharing our students’ talents in all areas. At OCSA, our hope is to work with each family as a partner to ensure all students reach their full potential. Please feel free to communicate with your child’s teachers any time you have a question or concern about their academic or artistic progress. Our teachers work hard to keep you up to date and informed of your student’s progress and offer support when needed with a variety of opportunities available. OCSA offers daily academic intervention during our lunch time and after-school tutoring starting up again in February, Monday-Thursday, and the occasional boot camps throughout the year. Auditions for the 2025-2026 school year will be happening soon, and it is always exciting as we see the next group of artists who want to be a part of OCSA’s tradition of excellence. (Details on the audition process can be found on our website.) The dedicated and talented staff, the amazingly smart and artistic students, and our supportive families all work together to ensure that tradition of excellence continues. Please continue to be flexible and patient with our renovations. We will keep you updated as we work through each phase of the renovation process and the changes that may be necessary. Thank you in advance for all you do for our school and our students to ensure they continue to grow and develop as artists and responsible citizens. I am looking forward to an even better second semester and look forward to seeing you soon at OCSA… Where Passion Meets Purpose!
Sincerely,
Dennis Neal
