  • The Professional and Technical High School (PATHS) is a magnet; public high school located in Kissimmee, FL on the Osceola Technical College (oTECH) campus.  Working in partnership with oTECH, we accelerate our students through highly rigorous academic and career and technical education pathways starting in the 9th grade.  PATHS students have the opportunity to earn  a regular high school diploma, industry certifications from oTECH, and potential their Associate's degree with Valencia College.  All students that enroll at PATHS are required to dual enroll in an oTECH program during their Junior and/or Senior year.  Our mission is to make every student, future ready and we accomplish that mission by integrating academics and CTE together to ensure a highly rigorous and highly relevant education for all students.

PATHS has earned several accolades including being an "A" school as defined by the Florida Department of Education school grading system every year since we opened.  PATHS has the highest achievement rate in Math, Social Studies, and Science in the entire school district and ranks second in English/Language Arts.  PATHS is ranked as a Top High School in the 2019 U.S. News and World Report rankings of the best high schools in the nation.  This year, PATHS earned the GreatSchools.org College Success award for our ability to prepare students for success in College.  The 2019 graduating class boasted a 92% acceleration rate meaning that 92% of our Seniors earned at least one industry certification, completed at least one Valencia College course, or passed at least one Advanced Placement exam.  This is the highest acceleration rate in the history of PATHS.  PATHS had the highest number of students in the school district earning the Seal of Bi-Literacy designation on their high school diplomas.  Perhaps most important, PATHS has a 100% graduation rate.  Overall, we have a proven track record of success that is only getting stronger.
