• At ALCO, we create structured career pathways that connect educational programs and support services that enable students, often while working, to advance to better jobs and higher levels of education and training.  Our adult education programs build these pathways to sustainable, independent careers in our county.  

    Our Integrated Education and Training (IET) programs simultaneously enable adult learners to develop foundational and workforce preparation skills. IET provides adult education and literacy services concurrently and contextually with workforce preparation activities and training. Our IET programs are a vital part of career pathways for many students.

    At ALCO, we offer many different IET programs that help adult learners prepare for a specific occupation while improving their basic skills, English language skills, and/or earning their high school equivalency diploma.
