    Bright Futures Scholarship Program

    The Bright Futures Scholorship program provides scholarships based on high school academic achievement. It has three award levels: the Florida Academic Scholars Award, Florida Medallion Scholars Award, and Florida Gold Seal Vocational Scholars Award. Please review our community service form which outlines specifics regarding how to document the required hours for this scholorship. 

     

    General Requirements for All Awards 

    • Be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen
    • Earn a Florida high school diploma or its equivalent
    • Be accepted and enrolled in an eligible Florida public or independent post-secondary educational institution
    • Be enrolled for at least six semester credit hours
    • Not have been found guilty of, or pled no contest to a felony charge
    • Use the award within three years of high school graduation
