• OVS Summer Courses Information​ 

    OVS will offer limited high school credit courses this summer.  Students who would like to register for summer courses should select their classes to begin June 3-7, 2024.  Please sign up no later than May 10 for your summer courses so that your local school counselors will have time to approve your courses. Space is limited for each course. Registration does not mean that you are guaranteed a space on the course due to class size. Students will be placed in a waitlist for the fall if space is not available.​

    I'm signed up... Now what?​

    1. Students are assigned a teacher in June.​

    2. Students check back June 3-7 to see the assigned teacher.​

    3. Students follow the instructions on the teacher announcement page to attend a welcome call. (It is required to keep your seat on the course.)​

    4. Students begin working on their coursework right away during the first week of June.​

    5. Students continue to submit multiple assignments each week until the course is complete.

    "Please note that FLVS does not provide any Access Points of the Florida State Standards which offer modified curriculum and assessment options for students with intellectual disabilities or significant cognitive disabilities. Parents are encouraged to discuss Access Point options that are available in the district of record for students with significant cognitive disabilities who need reduced levels of complexity/reduced academic expectations to ensure successful student outcomes."
