The Neptune Middle School AVID Fill-A-Backpack School Supply Drive was a great success this year.

Schools were asked by district AVID leaders to each donate ten student backpacks and one teacher bag. The AVID program at Neptune Middle is always determined to go above and beyond and with the help of the AVID students and fantastic Neptune Middle School staff, they were able to surpass the goal.

They put together and donated 30 student backpacks, 22 teacher bags, one box of additional supplies that were not specifically requested, and approximately 150 Teacher Survival Bags filled with goodies that were not specified for the teachers (but that the school knew would be welcomed and appreciated).
