Shanoff Shadows – Coming Soon!

There’s no better way for a new Superintendent to truly understand the scope of a school district than by stepping into the shoes of its dedicated employees. Launching in September, “Shanoff Shadows” will follow Dr. Shanoff as he shadows staff members twice a month across various roles, gaining valuable insights and making meaningful connections. From custodians to School Nutrition Services workers, from teachers to paraprofessionals, this series will take us on a tour of the diverse and integral roles that help our school district thrive daily. By walking in their shoes, Dr. Shanoff will gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and triumphs of those who work tirelessly to provide a safe environment for our students. 

After each experience, Dr. Shanoff will sit down for a candid conversation with the staff member he shadowed for the new “Marking Excellence” podcast and video series. This discussion will allow Dr. Shanoff to learn more about the employee and how they see themselves making an impact within the Osceola County School District. Additionally, Dr. Shanoff will reflect on his time in each respective role as part of the Roundup Blog. 

This initiative is part of Dr. Shanoff’s 100-day plan as the new Superintendent. In addition to the job shadowing, Dr. Shanoff plans to visit each of our schools by mid-October. You can follow Dr. Shanoff on Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) @DrMarkShanoff.

No hay mejor manera para que un nuevo superintendente comprenda realmente el alcance de un distrito escolar que poniéndose en el lugar de sus dedicados empleados. A partir de septiembre, "Shanoff Shadows" seguirá al Dr. Shanoff en sus visitas dos veces al mes a miembros del personal que desempeñan diversas funciones, obteniendo conocimientos valiosos y estableciendo conexiones  significativas. Desde los conserjes a los trabajadores de los Servicios de Nutrición Escolar, desde los profesores a los paraprofesionales, esta serie nos llevará a recorrer las diversas e integrales funciones que ayudan a nuestro distrito escolar a prosperar diariamente. Al caminar en sus zapatos, el Dr. Shanoff obtendrá una comprensión más profunda de los retos y triunfos de aquellos que trabajan incansablemente para proporcionar un ambiente seguro para nuestros estudiantes. 

Después de cada experiencia, el Dr. Shanoff mantendrá una conversación sincera con el miembro del personal que ha seguido de cerca para la nueva serie de podcasts y vídeos "Marking Excellence". Esta conversación le permitirá al Dr. Shanoff aprender más sobre el empleado y cómo se ve a sí mismo haciendo un impacto dentro del Distrito Escolar del Condado Osceola. Además, el Dr. Shanoff reflexionará sobre su tiempo en cada función respectiva como parte del Blog Roundup. 

Esta iniciativa forma parte del plan de 100 días del Dr. Shanoff como nuevo superintendente. Además de la observación del trabajo, el Dr. Shanoff tiene previsto visitar cada una de nuestras escuelas a mediados de octubre.
