    Jobs in the Finance Career Cluster involve providing services for financial and investment planning, banking insurance, and business financial management.

    Financial services focuses on career opportunities that relate to making strategic decisions to report, obtain, save, protect and grow the financial assets of businesses and individuals. Students will develop a strong computation, analytical and interpersonal skills. preparing them for career in Finance, including areas such as banking and credit, securities and insurance, and financial planning.

    Career Technical Student Organizations

    BPA (Business Professionals of America) contributes to the preparation of a world-class workforce through the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic, and technological skills for students at the secondary and postsecondary level. Through co-curricular programs and services, members compete in demonstrations of their business technology skills, develop through professional and leadership skills, network with one another and professionals across the nation, and get involved in the betterment of their community through good works projects. In addition to competitive conferences, students have the opportunity to attend regional and state workshops.


    DECA (Delta Epsilon Chi) is an international association of high school students studying marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marking sales and service. Working together, students develop professionalism, leadership, build character, and encourage scholarship. Members have the opportunity to attend regional, state and national conferences which provide leadership development, problem solving and knowledge integration workshops and activities.


    FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) one of three student leadership organizations for Business and Administration. FBLA provides students with opportunities for leadership, community involvement, business partnerships, and competition with other students in events ranging from Public Speaking to Job Interview to Parliamentary Procedures. There are two annual conferences—one focused on leadership for the school officers and one focused on competition for the members. The competition conference extends for three days and hosts over 1,200 students statewide. Winners from each of the forty events qualify to compete at the national level.
