  • The School District of Osceola County Transportation Services considers it a privilege and honor to be entrusted to transport the students of our communities to school. It is our goal to have the safest, most productive, and efficient, school bus delivery system ever. We can accomplish this goal by working together with parents, guardians and school staff to ensure that all students are ready for school each day and are fully prepared to actively participate in the learning process.

    Transporting more than 23,000 students each school day more than 6,000,000 annual miles, our drivers and support personnel are highly trained, motivated, and very experienced. We are dedicated to providing transportation services to all eligible students. Remember, the school bus has been proven beyond question to be the safest mode of ground transportation available for our students.

    I challenge you to assist us in attaining our goal by having your students at our bus stops on time each day and ready to learn.     To All Employees:

    I am very excited that the Osceola County School Board took steps tonight to recognize the talent and hard work of educators and the critical role teachers, support staff, and administrators play in ensuring educational excellence for every child in our district. The Board is also very aware of how district employees are having to deal with inflation and its ongoing need to attract and retain quality employees.  At its meeting tonight, the Osceola County School Board approved the following:

    • $500 non-recurring supplement to all employees (excluding substitute employees) to be paid out before Spring Break 2022
    • An increase to the minimum wage for employees to $15.00 an hour effective July 1, 2022.   All ESP and Teamsters bargaining unit employees already making over $15.00 an hour will receive a $0.30 an hour recurring salary increase.  All non-bargaining support staff already making over $15.00 an hour will receive a 2% recurring salary increase.

    The Osceola County School Board and Unions have already agreed to the following in addition for the 2022-2023 fiscal year:

    • Teachers - A non-recurring retention incentive supplement in the amount of $50 for each year of verified eligible experience will be paid to each instructional employee who has 10 or more years of verified eligible experience. Salary negotiations for the 2022-2023 school year for educators will resume if the Florida Legislature appropriates additional funds for the Teacher Salary Increase Allocation or other similar specific compensation for instructional employees and legislates related terms and conditions.
    • ESP & Teamsters Bargaining Unit Employees - These employees will receive a non-recurring supplement of $750.
    • Non-Bargaining Support Staff and Administrators - These employees will receive a non-recurring supplement of 3.5%.
