Step Two: Get Your DOT Physical

The Florida Department of Motor Vehicles will NOT release your CDL permit until you give them a copy of your physical.

You can get your physical done at CVS. The company does not take insurance for the physical and it will be $109. You sign up here: https://www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/services/dot-physicals
YOU DO NOT have to go to CVS for your physical. You can go somewhere else that is convenient for you. -
