College, Career, & Life Readiness

  • Choose Your Path

Planning for life after high school starts long before Senior year. Finding the right career takes time, planning, and exploring throughout all grade levels.

As a part of the SDOC Strategic Plan, we want to challenge, empower, and inspire our students to see their education as an adventure both inside and out of the classroom. We want students to explore the different paths to exciting destinations and to confidently craft the path to their futures.

Our goal is to help every single student graduate high school with a confirmed plan related to one of our 4 Es - Enrollment, Enlistment, Employment, and Exploration!

    Planning Guides

Every high school has a designated College & Career Counselor to help support and guide students toward their postsecondary plan. No matter which pathway a student chooses, we have support to help them achieve their goals.

These planning guides are a great place to start. Here is a year-by-year guide for high school students to help them explore, narrow down, and work toward their postsecondary goals.
